Inner Landscapes II: Postures of the Mind

A quiet meeting where, in the ease of another's presence, the self returns unguarded and light.

Two figures sit facing one another in an open, unguarded space. Their familiarity feels both external and deeply internal, as though the meeting were not only between two people, but between parts of the self. The work reflects on the childlike ease of being with someone we truly enjoy, where nothing needs to be performed and who we are becomes lighter, softer, more honest. In such moments we meet ourselves again, not as we present to the world, but as we are beneath it. A red frame and violet field glow against the cool teal around them, a small warm country made of two people’s company.
