Inner Landscapes II: Postures of the Mind

He sits within the pause, where time lingers and, presence arrives quietly.

He sits on a simple chair, leaning slightly forward, not fully engaged with anything: one arm resting, the other hanging loose. He waits without knowing how long. There is no tension, but no release either. Blue dominates, immersive and almost enveloping, like suspended time and emotional distance, a space where nothing is happening and something is expected. A small bird has come to rest on his head, as if in the waiting something subtle has arrived.
