Inner Landscapes II: Postures of the Mind

Interwoven emotional threads, shared topographies.

Three figures stand shoulder to shoulder, each in her own colour and gesture, their garments overlapping and flowing into one another. Like threads, they remain distinct yet are woven into a larger whole, a tapestry of joy, sorrow, love and growth. Pink, yellow, teal and blue pass from one figure to the next, so no single colour belongs to only one of them. A ball of yarn at the lower right and fine lines running through the clothing carry the idea: belonging has texture, and what we share forms a landscape of its own. A part of everyone we meet stays with us, held by threads we rarely see.
