Inner Landscapes II: Postures of the Mind
Moments linger in the body, unspoken but present, held long after they are gone.
A woman lies reclined, carrying an entire day inside her body. Her face is still and a little distant, as though she is replaying or absorbing what has passed, while white markings across her skin read as imprints of the day: conversations, feelings and moments that have not yet left her. The flowers in her hand are tender and slightly unruly, something received, held or offered, beautiful, messy and unfinished, like real days. Behind her, repeated marks suggest hours slipping by, yet she lies outside that rhythm, holding everything within.
