Inner Landscapes II: Postures of the Mind

She holds herself at the edge of opposing forces, choosing steadiness over collapse.

She folds into herself, arms wrapped around her shoulders in a self-embrace that is protective but intentional, as though she is actively holding herself together. Unlike All That Is Within, where she rests into her interior, there is here a subtle awareness of weight, of something being managed. Warm, grounded tones, the table and her inward lean sit on one side; organic, branching forms on the other reach toward her like thoughts, pressures or unseen forces. A small white form on the table, like a fallen petal, suggests something already slipping away, and a soft oval above her head hovers like a fragile equilibrium.
